On November 30th and December 1st 2021, Futerro will be present in the “European Bioplastics Conference” taking place in Berlin, Germany. The 16th European Bioplastics Conference is dedicated exclusively to bioplastics, their developments, and new applications on our daily life. Futerro's CEO, Frédéric Van Gansberghe is nominated for the "Manager of the year 2021" by Trends Tendance. 

Trends Tendances magazine awards the Manager of the Year prize every year, whic is presented in the first days of January. This award is based on a vote of the readers, to which a list of nominees is submitted, generally comprising ten names. The selection in made by a jury is composed of business experts (consultants, professors, etc.) and journalists from Trends Tendances magazine, and crowns a French-speaking business leader. 

FIP is a flagship event and reference for the entire profession, it brings together all the players to promote the performance of a high-tech, competitive and responsible plastics industry with more than 10,000 visitors and 800 exhibitors.

The Plastics Recycling Show is a pan-European, exhibition, conference and awards designed specifically for plastics recycling professionals. It brings together key players from the plastics and recycling sectors to showcase innovative technology, share best practice, network and do business. A broad cross-section of the industry is represented at the event including plastics recycling machinery and equipment suppliers, plastic material suppliers and compounders, pre-processors, plastics recyclers, waste management specialists and industry associations.

Futerro will attend REACT event at Rouen’s University, France, organized by “Les Chambres D’agriculture Normandie”. Geoffroy Delvinquier (Business Development & Marketing Manager) will take part in the round table to discuss about which levers could be use to open the bioplastic industry in Europe.

Futerro will attend the 7th PLA World Congress in Munich, Germany, organized by the Bioplastics Magazine. Geoffroy Delvinquier (Business Development & Marketing Manager) will give a presentation about “PLA integrated supply chain & life cycle management”.

Futerro joined BioChem Europe to underlines how important biobased polymers  and the bioeconomy are for a more resilient, circular and carbon neutral economy.

BioChem Europe is a sector group of the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC) that ambitions to promote the assets and merits of biomass-derived chemicals and their contribution to a sustainable future for People, the Planet, and Prosperity. The group represents companies using feedstocks based on biomass as their raw materials to produce chemicals

Unlocking a bioeconomy across Europe: How to scale up national strategies, build skills and fuel investments ?

Frédéric Van Gansberghe, Futerro's CEO was invited to speak with other key actors of the European bioeconomy sector about the way to unlock this market within Europe during a digital dialogue.
